Busy Friday

Apparently today was so busy that I just now (at 9:45 pm) realized that it’s Friday the 13th.

Tilda doodles at Richmond Hill Cafe

I had a rehearsal last night (stiflingly hot until the cool change arrived at 9:50 pm), so Tilda slept over at Ishika’s and went to kinder with her in the morning. After I picked Tilda up from kinder, we headed to Richmond Hill Cafe, where we met Monika, Elena, and tagalong Oscar for cheesy toast.

Since Elena was sleeping over at our place tonight, it was in my best interest to make sure they were really tired, so we all went to the zoo next. This was the first time I didn’t take a stroller to the zoo (since I realized in Brisbane that Tilda has legs that actually work!), and Tilda had no problem covering the distances. As usual, most of the entertainment at the zoo didn’t come from the animals – they were looking for things to climb and stages to dance on.

Tilda is now much bigger than those statues in the elephant area.
