Off to the orchestra

Waiting for the train

We had an early start to the day, as Tilda and Elena woke up at 6:45. I had to get up early anyway, as it was the last gardening working bee at the kindergarten. Tilda and Elena helped to rake tan bark around the playground, but did not contribute much to my weeding efforts.

Ready for the orchestra

In the afternoon, Tilda and I headed into the city to go to MSO Classic Kids, a concert for young children by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. We sat on the floor (literally) right in front of the first violins, and then I realized how uncomfortable it is to sit on the floor, particularly if one is wearing a skirt. Tilda enjoyed the concert but she was starting to feel the effects of a sleepover night. I think there will be an early bedtime tonight.
