Ferocious and giddy

Tilda found a new game to play with George, who seemed to be up for it. She’s mostly caught up on her sleep, although you wouldn’t necessarily know it from this movie.

Our concert on Sunday went pretty well. It had an interesting beginning, when our tenor soloist went somewhere different with his bit before the choir’s entry. As the work is unaccompanied, we just had to go along with the new (higher!) key – well, at least we all got there eventually. I spent some time suspecting that the new key was a ploy to help the basses, who had to sing some very low notes later on. Anyway, it got better after that!

The Band

Here are some of the back-row girls (and Sue!), singing at Nicole’s birthday party a couple weeks ago, and me wearing the skirt. The birthday girl is the vividly dressed one in the middle – the rest of us are dressed like we’re from Melbourne or something. But aren’t we brave? And don’t I have a big mouth?
