Art

Shortly after the discovery of all the lovely craft blogs came the realization that these nice people would sell me their stuff. Normally I don’t like to buy decorative objects that I could theoretically make myself (and that tends to include everything), but apparently I’m more willing to bend this rule for a reasonable price.

So I ordered The Thumbprint Chart of ABCs, which I just love, and which goes very nicely with Toasting the Queen. The hooks above the kitchen table have been filled, as have the frames I bought for the little quilts, but the little quilts aren’t quite made yet and the frames would squish them too much anyway. I have to find some frames that are a bit more shadowboxy.

It seems that my taste in art is quite … well, what’s the opposite of sophisticated?
