Ballerina

Tilda started ballet lessons this week. This is all completely foreign territory for me, so I found it daunting to enter the ballet studio (an oddly situated building in the median strip of Whitehorse Road, which looks remarkably like a toilet block) and then to send Tilda off behind closed doors with a somewhat severe Teutonic woman.
Tilda loved it though, so today we went to invest in the uniform. She still doesn’t have the leotard, as they were out of her size, so a bathing suit will have to do. The chiffon skirt is technically listed as optional, but my guess is that it’s the one mandatory item for Tilda.
