Anglesea

It was Yvonne’s birthday today. She and the girls are attending a church camp this weekend, in Anglesea on the Great Ocean Road, so Tilda and I drove down to join them for the day. Tilda was very proud of herself for asking “Are we almost there?” only 3 times.
We started off with the activities at the camp, which included bushwalking, a trampoline, and an obstacle course that Tilda was determined to master.
We then drove to the nearest beach, with both Tilda and Phoebe pleading to be allowed to dip their feet in the water.
Of course, gradually more of their clothing got wet, then removed.
Yvonne wasn’t completely happy with Phoebe getting wet on such a chilly day, but we were taking such lovely pictures that we couldn’t bear to drag them out. Estella knew how cold it was.
Tilda had to take it to the limit, obviously.
In case you were wondering, that’s a “nyah nyah, you can’t stop me” posture.
Afterwards she conceded that perhaps it wasn’t the best idea. Fortunately we had brought a change of clothes.

[...] At least it wasn’t nearly as cold as last year. [...]
