Christmas stocking

I’ve started to get The Fever – the urge to make Christmas gifts, much too close to Christmas. So this afternoon I invited myself over to Sanjot’s for some sewing (with a view).
I had to bring my own sewing machine, because part of my plan was prodding Sanjot into starting to sew Ishika’s quilt.
Now Tilda has a very special Christmas stocking, to replace some very unspecial stockings that she’s used in previous years.
Of course, now that Tilda’s seen the stocking, I can’t give it to her as a Christmas gift, putting me back at square one. My gift plans for her so far include hair elastics and an umbrella!
