Star of the day goes back to the zoo

Tilda was “star of the day” at school yesterday, “for great work and being a great helper!” This meant that she got to take Lily, the class teddy, home with her. Since today is our second-last Wednesday off, this allowed Lily to have an even bigger adventure than usual.

The preps have Wednesdays off school for the first 6 weeks, and the plan was that we would use those Wednesdays to visit the 3 local zoos with our friends, to make sure that our zoo memberships actually get used.
