The calm before

We’ve had a very relaxed Christmas Eve, with just a trip out to get some bread rolls for tomorrow and a new headlight bulb for the car. I’m very, very pleased with our weather forecast for tomorrow – a high of 22C. I know that I’d have a tough time getting into the Christmas spirit if it were 31C at 7 AM like it was this morning.
I’m kind of worried that I haven’t experienced my usual frenzied urge to clean before Christmas – worried that this urge will strike at 11:30 tonight, when I just might be a bit busy acting as a proxy. Before Tilda goes to bed, we have some Grinch to watch and some Christmas lights to walk to, if it’s not raining.
