Kristine, I meant to tell you last night, the choir is absolutely wonderful, I loved listening to the Hallelujah Chorus. I really wish there was a concert while we were there!! I used to listen to The Messiah years ago, when my Mom was singing! It brought back memories.

[...] Our concert on Sunday went pretty well. It had an interesting beginning, when our tenor soloist went somewhere different with his bit before the choir’s entry. As the work is unaccompanied, we just had to go along with the new (higher!) key - well, at least we all got there eventually. I spent some time suspecting that the new key was a ploy to help the basses, who had to sing some very low notes later on. Anyway, it got better after that! [...]

Colour coordination is so much easier now that her wardrobe (including footwear) is almost entirely pink.

Sad commentary on today's values I think, but I do believe that it is a world wide preoccupation with looks, weight, etc for girls from 5 to 35.
It seems to begin earlier and earlier. Tell her that she looks absolutely fabulous in her bathing suit, her thighs are definitely NOT fat!! She has 2 thin parents and she is very unlikely to EVER have problems with fat thighs. She's gorgeous!!!!
